Daily Requirements of employees

  • Safety Glasses and steel toes are required

Office Opportunities

OFFICE ASSISTANT

Office assistants perform administrative and routine clerical tasks. Their responsibilities may include organizing and managing files, acting as receptionists, and supporting other staff with organizational tasks. Job may also clue light filing of paperwork, and answering phones.

Requirements:

  • Customer service skills

  • Word/ Excel experience (a plus)

  • Organization and cleanliness

MECHANICAL DESIGNER/ ESTIMATOR

This position is responsible for assisting in the development and execution of mechanical design for projects assigned. Responsabile for preparing design drawings, and other information. Directly involved with the development of 3D modeling work. Supports manufacturing and purchasing with preparation of drawings and material requirements.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of engineering practices, design details, procedures, and specifications

  • Experience using Solid-Works

  • Ability to read blue prints

  • Able to react to shifting priorities, demands, and timeless through analytical and problem soling capabilities

  • Strong customer skills

  • Capability and willingness to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.

Shop Opportunities

These jobs require some physical work, and during the warmer months can get pretty warm in the facility. Each Machinists job requires each person to know how to read prints and a tape measure. You are responsible for checking your own parts during process. Every employee here at Detailed Machining is responsible for the cleanliness on your machine and surrounding area. Each job here at Detailed Machining requires each part, before it reaches shipping, to be completely cleaned and debured per customers satisfaction.

CNC PROGRAMMER/ OPERATOR

A CNC operator produces machined parts by programming, setting up and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine. Maintaining equipment, adhering to quality and safety standards and keeping detailed part records are some of the core responsibilities of a CNC operator

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years machine experience

  • Must have own tools (wrench, sockets, exc.)

  • Must be able to read and understand blue prints/ CAD programs

  • Work independently, and efficiently

  • Must Clean all work areas at end of day

QUALITY INSPECTOR

A Quality Inspector monitors the quality of incoming and outgoing products or materials for a company. Also known as a Quality Control Inspector, they are tasked with conducting tests, analyzing measurements, and overseeing production processes. They work in assembly lines or production departments.

Requirements:

  •  Basic math and computer literacy

  • Maintain daily records of inspection activities

  • Able to work with both metric and imperial measurement units

  • 2 years experience in manufacturing or quality related environment

  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints along with material specifications

  • Must be able to identify defects in parts/material

  • Familiarity with a variety of standard measurement instruments including calipers, micrometers, and height gauges

  • Ability to lift/ move >50lbs

WATER JET OPERATOR/ PROGRAMMER

Water jet Operator will be in charge of an (2) Omax water jets. These machines measure 80x120 range. Water Jet operator sets up and operates high-speed water jet cutter to cut and trim parts and materials from assorted materials according to specifications. Replaces worn or damaged machine parts, such as nozzles, tips, and washers. Operator also measures dimensions of finished part, using measuring instruments, such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators, or check fixture.

Requirements:

  • Must have at least 3yrs experience with Omax

  • Ability to lift/ move >50lbs

  • Ability to read a blue print

  • Must have basic computer skills

  • Egerness to learn new skills

  • Fork lift experience in a Plus

MANUAL MILL PROGRAMMER

A mill machinist operates equipment such as milling machines, end mills, revolving lathe tools, and drill presses, to produce manufacturing parts out of metal, aluminum, steel, or plastic. Using blueprints provided by a company's engineers, mill machinists assess specifications and configure equipment to produce batches of parts. 

The work requires technical knowledge and precision, since mill machinists take measurements to adequately setup the devices. They may be responsible for procedures such as cutting, squaring, milling, drilling, tapping, and boring. While some machines are operated manually, others have computer numerical control (CNC) capabilities. When programmed using CNC codes, machines do not have to be operated by hand.

  • Work independently, and efficiently

ROBOT WELDER OPPORATOR

The Robotic Welder Operator is responsible for the set up and operation of computer-controlled machines or robots to perform one or more machine functions on steel products.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years machine experience

  • Must have own tools (wrench, sockets, exc.)

  • Must be able to read and understand blue prints

  • Work independently, and efficiently

  • Must Clean all work areas at end of day

  • Review new product designs to determine fixturing and programming issues.

  • From welding designs, set parameters and program robot to safely execute the correct welds,

  • Run test welds to determine accuracy and quality

  • Oversee the operation of the robot and troubleshoot and correct problems as they occur.

  • Perform upkeep of programming and maintenance of robot and fixtures.

WELDER

A welder takes various metal components and uses intense heat to fuse them together to form a final product. Thus, they must have the strength and skills to manage welding equipment. Communication skills are essential to work with team members and converse with customers and clients.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years machine experience

  • Must have own tools (wrench, sockets, exc.)

  • Must be able to read and understand blue prints

  • Work independently, and efficiently

  • Must Clean all work areas at end of day

  • produce metal products according to customer or employer specifications

  • operate and maintain welding equipment

  • implement personal and company safety measures by wearing specialized goggles, helmets and gloves
